This notice explains how Platform Security Net (“we”) collects and uses personal data when you visit our website, submit forms, or engage us for audits for fintech operators. We act as the data controller for website enquiry data. For client engagement data, the engagement letter may designate additional roles.

Data we collect

Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone, organisation)
Enquiry content such as licence type, preferred fieldwork window, and message text
Technical data such as browser type and pages visited when analytics cookies are accepted
Engagement records, interview notes, and working papers when you are a client or interviewee

Purposes

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, perform contracted audit work, maintain professional records, improve site usability (with consent for analytics), and meet legal or regulatory duties applicable in Taiwan.

Legal bases

Depending on the context, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests in operating a professional practice, legal obligations, or consent (for optional analytics cookies and newsletter signup).

Retention

Enquiry form data is retained up to 24 months after the last correspondence unless a longer period is required for an active proposal. Engagement working papers are retained for at least seven years, or longer if required by professional standards or law. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with secure hosting providers, email processors, and professional advisers under confidentiality obligations, or when required by competent authorities.

International transfers

If tools or subprocessors store data outside Taiwan, we use contractual safeguards and assess whether the destination offers appropriate protection. You may request information about relevant transfer mechanisms by contacting us.

Your rights

Subject to Taiwan personal data protection rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with the competent Taiwanese authority.

Security

We apply access controls, encryption in transit where supported, and need-to-know limits on engagement files. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive identifiers through the website form.

Children

Our services are directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
